Christian Outreach Centre House of Prayer in Bognor Regis and Worthing			Christian Outreach Centre International A brief History of the movement Christian Outreach Centre was birthed in Brisbane, Australia in 1974, out of a passion for God and for revival in Australia. The vision rapidly spread to many other nations of the earth as God's Spirit moved powerfully in freedom of praise and worship, evangelistic preaching, miracles and healings, causing many to come to know Jesus. From 25 people meeting in a room, this pioneering movement has now grown to include over 700 churches in more than 40 nations. It also runs Ministry Training Institutes and Pastor's Training Schools, to equip God's leaders of the future, has been involved in the setting up of dedicated children's ministries, sends fully trained missionaries throughout the world, and now shows the practical outworking of Jesus love through the work of its aid organisation "Global Compassion". In 1995 a European base was established by Australian Pastors Ashley and Ruth Schmierer in Brighton, England to co-ordinate the outworking of the vision God has given to Christian Outreach Centre regarding Europe. Since then the work of Christian Outreach Centre has spread throughout the United Kingdom, and across Western and Eastern Europe. Pastors Ashley & Ruth are presently pioneering a curch in London. Christian Outreach Centre in Brighton, now known as City Coast Church, is pastored by David and Jackie Harland. It is from here that Lee & Larna were commissioned and sent. Our aim is to impact Europe with the truth and righteousness of God; to be a force for change in our nations. Together we will "Reach Our World for Christ".
		In 2002 pastors Lee and Larna Martin, after several fruitful years serving at Christian Outreach Centre Brighton & Hove, embarked upon the exciting adventure of planting a church in Worthing.


	Soon after this they were asked to take the pastorate of Christian Outreach Centre Bognor Regis, previously pastored by Ray and Sally Hill. Since that time they, with their children, Luke and Hannah, and a great team of believers in both churches, have led the two congregations, serving the Lord Jesus Christ with fervour and devotion to the Word of God. House of Prayer is marked by a passionate desire for God's presence and power to be manifest in our generation. Building on the principles of God's Word, lives are being developed in holiness, giftings are being released, and the good news of Jesus Christ is being preached and demonstrated.
